Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Delivers Tough Warning Over Terrorism

In a stern warning to Pakistan, India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh declared on Friday that the era of terrorism against India, nurtured and supported by Pakistan since the country's Independence, is over. This statement came at an interaction with naval personnel aboard aircraft carrier INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa.

Singh suggested India would deploy whatever means necessary to combat terrorism, adding that there are methods Pakistan cannot even fathom. He asserted that Operation Sindoor constituted not merely a military action but a frontal assault by India against terrorism. He emphasized that the operation was a clear message not only to terrorists but also to their patrons.

Referring to anti-India activities orchestrated from Pakistani soil, Singh stated that India has the right and the ability to take any kind of action against terrorists on both sides of the border and the sea. He highlighted India's unwavering resolve in protecting its citizens against terrorism and touted the international community's recognition of India's right to do so.

Singh also paid tribute to the Indian Navy's contribution during Operation Sindoor, praising their silent service in tying down the Pakistani army. He explained how the Indian Navy's aggressive deployment in the Arabian Sea confined the Pakistani Navy to its own territories, complementing the Indian Air Force's destruction of terror bases in Pakistan.

The defense minister also emphasized that the speed, depth, and clarity with which India's armed forces executed Operation Sindoor were extraordinary. Ultimately, he stated, India ceased its military actions on its own terms after achieving its objectives, underscoring India's strategic clarity and determination in this matter.
