Pakistan has taken a significant step in addressing the increasing terrorist activities within its borders, as the Afghan interim ambassador, Sardar Ahmed Shakib, was summoned to the Foreign Office.

The summoning, which occurred on an unspecified date but was reported by The News on Wednesday, comes in response to a surge in terrorist activities by the Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists, who are believed to be sheltering on Afghan soil and are funded and sponsored by India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

According to reports, 18 terrorists, allegedly associated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), were killed near the Chahbahar area of Iran. The terrorists were reportedly Afghan nationals, with 16 of them being among the fatalities.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Muhammad Sadiq Khan, has returned from an unannounced Afghanistan-related mission in the United Arab Emirates. Sadiq Khan is expected to submit a detailed report to the leadership about his undertaking. He is also likely to lead a delegation of senior officials to Kabul later this week.

During his visit to Kabul, Sadiq Khan will have a meeting with interim Afghan Foreign Minister Mulla Amir Muttaqi. The name of the Afghan interim foreign minister who will speak with Muhammad Sadiq Khan in Kabul later this week is not provided in the available search results.

Pakistan has urged the Afghan Taliban regime to prevent the use of its soil for terrorist activities. The message from Pakistan to the Afghan Taliban was conveyed by Additional Foreign Secretary Syed Ali Assad Gilani.

The summoning of the Afghan ambassador is a warning that failure to address these concerns will be treated as "hostile" activity by Pakistan. Sadiq Khan will convey a stern message from Pakistan's leadership to his interlocutors in the Afghan capital.

However, Foreign Office spokesman Additional Foreign Secretary Shafqat Ali Khan was not available for comment on Afghanistan-related developments.

This move by Pakistan highlights the growing concern over the increasing terrorist activities in the region and the need for international cooperation to combat this issue.
