Pacific Russia's Literary Festival Returns Oct 10-12, 2023
The eighth 'Literature of the Pacific Russia' festival is set to take place in Vladivostok from October 10 to 12, 2023. Organized by the Primorsky branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia, the main event aims to explore and reimagine classical Russian literature and works from neighboring Asia-Pacific countries.
Creative partners of the festival include the Non-profit organization 'Talents of Vladivostok', the Primorsky branch of the Union of Russian Writers, and the Association of Book Festivals 'Reading Russia'. Information partners are extensive, featuring networks like PrimaMedia, TASS, RBC, and local outlets such as '8 Channel', VladNews, and 'Primorye 24'.
The festival will host a book fair at the Sports Harbor Embankment, open from 12:00 to 18:00 daily. More than 20 Russian publishers and publishing houses are expected to participate. The event is also supported by partners like the Non-profit organization 'Fund for the Development of Social Initiatives', 'Atlantic Development', 'Region', AO 'Terminal Astafyev', and the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture 'Vladivostok Centralized Library System'.
