Osbourne, who shared daughters Aimee and Kelly, and son Jack with his second wife Sharon, addressed rumors of his demise during an episode of "The Osbournes" podcast before his passing. Despite retiring from touring in early 2023 due to health issues associated with his Parkinson's disease, the rock icon made a triumphant return to the stage for his farewell concert.

The city, Osbourne’s hometown, honoured him as a "son of Birmingham."

Ozzy Osbourne is survived by his six adult children – Aimee, Kelly, Jack, Louis, Jessica, and Elliot, the latter being the son of his first wife Thelma Riley, whom he adopted. The funeral was a small, private affair, reflecting Osbourne’s wishes for a celebration of life to honour his wild and charismatic spirit.

Ozzy Osbourne's family expressed their gratitude for the love and support received from around the world following his death. In his emotional goodbye at the concert, Osbourne expressed his feelings, saying "Thank you from the bottom of my heart." The specific year of his marriage to Sharon is 1982.
