Ozzy Osbourne Dies: Two Documentaries to Honor 'Prince of Darkness'

Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, following his farewell concert in Birmingham. Fans worldwide mourned the loss of the 'Prince of Darkness'. Before his death, two documentaries honouring his life and career were announced.

The first, 'Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home', a 60-minute BBC special, will air on October 2, 2025. It promises an intimate look into the couple's life and career. Following closely, on October 7, 2025, a two-hour Paramount Plus documentary, 'Ozzy: No Escape From Now', will start streaming. This documentary will delve into Ozzy's extraordinary life and legacy.

Unbeknownst to many, Ozzy once starred in an unreleased skit parodying Gandalf from 'The Lord Of The Rings'. Created by comedy duo The Whitest Kids U' Know for Ozzfest 2003, the skit was meant to play on concert screens before performances. However, it was never broadcast. In 2006, user Clark Graff unearthed and uploaded the skit, along with other Ozzy parodies, to YouTube.

Ozzy Osbourne's impact on music and popular culture will be celebrated in two upcoming documentaries. His untapped comedic side was revealed through a previously unreleased 'Lord Of The Rings' skit. Fans eagerly await these tributes to the late rock icon.
