AIMIM Chief Slams Pakistan and the Pakistani Army
"Owaisi Criticizes Pakistan's Misunderstanding of Quran’s True Intentions During Period of Escalating Tensions"
In a fiery address, Asaduddin Owaisi, Chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), brutally criticized Pakistan and the Pakistani Army. Using religious text from the Quran, Owaisi labeled the Pakistani Army as "liars" and claimed they failed to comprehend the whole essence of the holy book.
"Pakistan has branded their latest attack 'Bunyan-al-Marsoos.' This comes from a verse in the Quran Sharif, where Allah says to stand like a solid wall. But the Pakistan Army and establishment are such deceptive entities. In the very same verse before, Allah questions, 'Why do you say such things that you don't do,'" Owaisi stated.
He further commented, "They are such liars that they can't even understand the full meaning of the Quran... Did they forget to stand like a wall when they were massacring Bengali Muslims in East Pakistan?"
Strained India-Pakistan Relations
The ongoing hostilities between India and Pakistan continue to intensify. Last month, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam savagely slaughtered 26 Indians and one Nepali citizen. In response, Indian Armed Forces initiated 'Operation Sindoor,' attacking terrorist infrastructure within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
At least nine targets were hit during the operation, with the Ministry of Defence assuring that the actions were focused, measured, and non-escalatory. It is also important to note that no Pakistani military facilities were targeted during the operation.
Historical Grievances
The Pakistan Army's history of violent tactics against Bengali Muslims in East Pakistan, leading to the Bangladesh Liberation War, has its roots in the political and social tensions between East and West Pakistan. The military crackdown on Bengali resistance was marked by widespread violence, massacres, and forced displacement, leaving deep scars on the region.
The conflict stemmed from economic and political disparities between East and West Pakistan, growing resentment among Bengali Muslims, and brutal military actions such as Operation Searchlight in 1971. The conflict escalated into war, resulting in the independence of Bangladesh.
As tensions between India and Pakistan rise once more, the echoes of history reverberate across the divides, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing dispute.
