Overnight snowstorm paralyzes morning traffic with slush and gridlock

Heavy overnight snowfall caused major travel disruptions this morning. Drivers faced long delays as roads turned slushy, leading to gridlock in several areas.

The worst congestion hit Malinovskogo Street, where traffic backed up from Novaya Kuznechikha toward Vaneyev Street. Many cars became trapped in deep slush, blocking lanes and slowing movement to a crawl.

Between 6 and 8 a.m., frustrated motorists left their vehicles to push stranded cars free. Secondary routes also jammed as drivers sought alternative ways around the chaos. No local reporters were present to document the scene during those early hours.

The sudden snowfall left commuters struggling for hours. Without immediate clearing, the slush and abandoned vehicles kept traffic at a standstill. Conditions only began to ease after the morning rush hour passed.
