Overnight, Russian air defense forces thwarted and eliminated 296 Ukrainian drones across several Russian territories, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Between 21:00 Moscow time on May 27 and 07:00 on May 28, air defense systems engaged and repelled the unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukrainian origin, as per the ministry's report.
The drones were downed over the territories of the Moscow region, Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rяazan, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula regions.
