Overnight Russian attacks in Ukraine result in at least 10 fatalities and 33 injuries, according to authorities' statements.

STRAIGHT UP: The Ukrainian airspace has been a battleground these days, with Russia carrying out relentless drone and missile attacks on Ukraine. The carnage left in its wake is shocking. Over a hundred attacks were reported during one night alone, resulting in over 40 dead and 70 injured across multiple regions.

The saddest casualties include a 9-year-old girl from the Zaporizhzhia region and five people from the Kharkiv region, who were injured in the barrage. The Kherson region suffered the most, with three deaths and twelve injuries, while the Donetsk and Sumy regions saw five and one fatalities, respectively.

Calling the attacks brazen and illogical, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his concerns and demanded stronger global sanctions against Russia. With the U.S.-brokered peace talks failing to produce any meaningful ceasefire or peace agreement thus far, the tension between the two nations continues to escalate.

The Biden administration must tighten the noose around Putin if they truly want to force Russia to the negotiation table and bring this senseless conflict to an end. Let's hope for a swift resolution and peace for the people of Ukraine.
