Updated Dispatch:

Russia's relentless onslaught against Ukraine continues, with a staggering 136 UAVs and other decoy drones unleashed since May 5. As of now, 54 have been shot down, 70 have vanished from radar, and one persists in the air. Efforts to ground the latter are ongoing.

This information comes straight from the Ukrainian Air Force, as announced on Telegram. The attack has struck hard in Kharkiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk.

Russian forces launched these drones from cities such as Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Primorsk in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as from their own territory.

Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups valiantly repelled this air attack.

Bonus Facts:Did you know that as of May 7, Russia also reported hitting a Swedish plant in Lutsk, claiming it to be a military target? The Kremlin, however, has a history of denying responsibility for similar attacks[1].

Also, it's worth noting that such drone attacks are part of a wider strategy employed by Russia to exert pressure on Ukraine. With their relentless strikes, they aim to disrupt civilian life, demoralize the population, and distract Ukraine's military from the larger conflict[2].
