Russia Reports Massive Drone Downings in Multiple Regions
In a series of engagements over several Russian regions, Russian air defense systems have reportedly taken down a significant number of Ukrainian drone aircraft. According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, a total of 93 Ukrainian drones were shot down during multiple engagements in early August 2025.

Seven Ukrainian drones were downed over Belgorod Oblast, and one was destroyed over Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
