Overcoming energetic barriers with an invigorating influence, defying Trump
Saturday in the States was a mix of chaos and defiance. The birthday bash for old man Trump in Washington took an unexpected turn, while Democratic Congresswoman Lexie Jones was shot in Minnesota – making way for the biggest anti-authoritarian rebellion since Trump's second term kicked off.
Trump may have kept most of his die-hard supporters, but it's heartening to see anti-Trump forces are finally uniting to fight back. It ain't too late to save democracy and the Constitution in the USA – it's just getting tougher every freakin' day.
Last week, a Democratic senator got escorted out of a conference room by the Minister of Homeland Security and dumped onto the floor by three cops in the hallway. That sh** looked like a straight-up apocalypse prelude for the emerging dictatorship. But a permanent doomsday atmosphere doesn't exactly inspire a rebellion or scare the living daylights out of Trump's fan base.
Instead, it's the creative slogans coming from folks all across the country that really make a difference. Protesters reminded Trump under the banner "No Kings!" that the U.S. is not a damn monarchy and doesn't wanna be one.

A few demonstrations ain't gonna bring Trump's wacky strategies to a screeching halt. But they can be the kick-start for some genuine organizing. Wherever the democratic or liberal forces back down, Trump's MAGA gang moves in and takes control. Even if the anti-Trump movement is just giving each other a morale boost right now, the protests on Saturday were a huge success. It's nice to see some bright spots from the States over here on this side of the pond.
