Municipal Election in Lünen: Vote-by-Mail Information
The municipal election in Lünen is scheduled for September 14, 2025. For more information about the election, please visit www.our website/kommunalwahl2025.
Voters who wish to cast their ballot by mail from home can apply for a vote-by-mail ballot. Applications can be submitted in person at the vote-by-mail office located in the North Wing, Ground Floor, Rooms 13 to 19 of the town hall, or online at www.our website/vote-by-mail or via email to elections@our website.
More than 8,000 vote-by-mail applications have been requested online, and a total of 12,200 applications have been issued for the Lünen municipal election. The simplest way to apply for a vote-by-mail is by using the QR code on the voting notification.
In-person applications must be submitted at the vote-by-mail office in the town hall with a valid ID document, such as a driver's license, passport, or passport with a residence permit. No appointment is necessary to submit vote-by-mail applications at the town hall.
The vote-by-mail office is open on Mondays from 8:00 to 16:00, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 18:00, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 to 12:30. On Friday, 12. September, extended hours of 8:00 to 15:00 will be in effect at the vote-by-mail office.
