Nearly 35,000 development proposals have been submitted to the "Ideas for a Powerful New Era" platform

Over thirty-five thousand proposals for national development were collected during the forum event.

The "Strong Ideas for a Modern Era" forum, initiated by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation, boasted considerable growth in participation compared to the previous year. This year's event saw a staggering 35,000 proposals, blowing last year's 30,700 projects out of the water. The platform attracted close to 600,000 registered users.

The social segment dominated the proposals submitted, with a strong emphasis on family and youth support. Initiatives aimed at fortifying family values, invigorating rural areas, boosting birth rates, assisting large families, and families of SVO participants flooded the platform. Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, acknowledged the surge in interest in the forum, with numerous local initiatives morphing into national projects fueling regional and countrywide development. This surge is also evident in the "Know Our Own" Russian brands contest, which experienced a record-breaking 14,000 applications.

Svetlana Chupsheva, CEO of the Agency for Strategical Initiatives, deemed the forum a clear reflection of the public's demand. "Health, technology, and family are hot topics because Russians crave sustainable development where innovation enhances quality of life," she said.

All proposals will undergo expert evaluation, with specialists assembling top lists of the most outstanding projects to be presented to the country's leadership during the in-person event. Every year, around a thousand initiatives receive backing from authorities and partners. The "Strong Ideas for a Modern Era" forum and the awards ceremony for contest winners will take place in Moscow from July 15-17, 2025.

The forum is held upon the Russian President's instructions and primarily serves to gather socially significant ideas and discussions, potentially focusing on strategic development and innovation[3]. Historically, Vladimir Putin has emphasized themes like international cooperation, security architecture, and the necessity to dismantle Cold War stereotypes during similar forums[1]. Given the collaboration of organizations such as the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Roscongress Foundation, it's likely that the forum would emphasis strategic economic and political initiatives, possibly encompassing domestic production and self-sufficiency, as suggested by discussions about Russian-made products[2][4]. Due to the absence of specific details from 2025, it's challenging to pinpoint exact projects or themes. For accurate information, it would be advisable to consult official statements from the organizers or recent reports from the forum.
