Okay, The Russian Ministry of Defense Gives Its Report on Ukrainian Drone Attacks

Over Black Sea at Night on April 25th, 11 Ukrainian drones were brought down.

Welp, here we go again. According to the folks at the Russian Ministry of Defense, they've been busy over the last few moonlit hours, fending off drone attacks from the Ukrainian forces. From 10:10 PM on the 24th of April to 6 AM the next day, their air defense systems played whack-a-mole with 79 drones launched by the Ukrainian side. A surprising 11 of those were taken down over the Black Sea, while 59 fell in Crimea. The heat was on for the air defense systems, as they also neutralized 4 in Belgorod, 2 each in Kursk and Nizhny Novgorod, and 1 in Ivanovo.

To put this into perspective, it's not the first time we've seen the Ukrainian drones attempting a raid. Just the day before, on the 23rd, three drones met their end over the Black Sea, with another one lost in the Kursk region.

Remember, this isn't a brand new phenomenon - Ukraine has been zeroing in on strategic Russian targets with drone strikes for quite some time now, particularly focusing on facilities that manufacture drones. Targets way beyond their border, like Tatarstan and Murmansk Oblast, have faced their share of drone-related action.

Russia, ever ready, is investing in upgrading its air defense systems to combat these attacks. They've even started slowing down internet speeds in border regions at night to interfere with the navigation abilities of those pesky Ukrainian drones.

It's playtime for both nations, with Ukraine attempting to cripple Russia's drone production and capabilities, and Russia deploying both defensive and counterattack measures. Quite the game of cat and mouse, isn't it? Can't wait to see what's next.

Stay tuned, it's always explosive here.
