Title: Dino-Wildlife Adventure: Schwarze Berge's Prehistoric Takeover of Tierpark Rosengarten

Hey there! Let's chat about an exciting blend of the ancient and the modern – the prehistoric invasion of Tierpark Rosengarten at Wildpark Schwarze Berge!

Wham! Right in the face of a T-Rex, or a towering 23-meter-long Diplodocus, or under the wings of one of the flying reptiles, visitors can't help but gasp in awe. You'd think you've stumbled upon a real-life Jurassic Park, just like Nathalie Albers from Heimfeld did with her nine-year-old son, Henry. They frequently spend their school breaks in this enclosed forest area, which feels like a dream in the Landkreis Harburg.

More than 120 jaw-dropping dinosaur and prehistoric beast models, all life-sized, have been meticulously placed on a picturesque, one-kilometer-long trail winding through the landscape. This collaboration with the Dinosaurier Freilichtmuseum Münchehagen took months of detailed work to get right, with the models crafted in Germany from fiberglass, adhering to the latest paleontological findings[1][3].

Look carefully, and you'll notice striking similarities between the prehistoric flyers and today's birds of prey, explains the park's manager, Lars Otten, who oversees the 60-hectare park sprawled across the Lüneburger Heide, home to 1,200 live animals[4].

Amyntor, the information boards whisper, the armored tortoise and the prickly hedgehog share the same defense mechanisms as the dinosaurs. Little explorers can sift through sand for fossils, uncover dinosaur skeletons, or customize their favorite dinosaur during their tour.

  1. This Dino-Wildlife Adventure at Tierpark Rosengarten, a collaboration with Wildpark Schwarze Berge, brilliantly merges the ancient world of dinosaurs with modern science, much like how movies and TV shows, such as Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park or space-and-astronomy documentaries, use scientific knowledge to depict prehistoric creatures.
  2. The Community Policy should address the environmental impact of such an exhibit, ensuring the welfare of the live animals in Tierpark Rosengarten and the preservation of the Lüneburger Heide environment, emphasizing that education and entertainment can go hand in hand with environmental responsibility.
