In the heart of Kamchatka Krai, the capital city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky hosted the 6th annual half-marathon "Zabeg.RF" on May 26, 2025. This year's event, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, attracted a total of 295 adults.

The race offered four distances: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km. Participants ranged in age from 6 to 64, with the 10 km and 21.1 km races being open only to adults.

In the men's 10 km race, Nikolai Burlacheno, Aleksey Pikalov, and Aleksandr Fesenko claimed the top spots. The 21.1 km race saw Dmitriy Yarenko, Vladimir Timofeev, and Mark Moskalyuk emerge victorious. The women's 10 km race was won by Elizaveta Shevchuk, Ekaterina Ulatova, and Natalia Panina, while Gulnara Kolesova, Anna Moskalyuk, and Nadezhda Konstantinova took the top spots in the 21.1 km race.

The 5 km race was open to those 16 and older, with Vadim Adullin, Yevgeniy Shelepov, and Yaroslav Shkoryn taking the top spots for men, and Elena Zhivlekhina, Ekaterina Belousova, and Diana Maslo claiming the top spots for women.

All finishers of the half-marathon received commemorative medals, adding to the sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among the participants. Furthermore, the leaders in the 21.1 km race received partner prizes in addition to their medals.

One of the participants, Daniil, shared his experience, stating that he was running "Zabeg.RF" for the first time and found it enjoyable. After a five-year hiatus from sports, he decided to get back into the game by participating in this event.
