As it stands, the helicopter unit of Saxony-Anhalt's state police boasts a squad of 18 seasoned cops. A typical helicopter crew is made up of a Pilot, at least one flight technician, and an operations specialist. Aboard, you'll find high-tech gear like a thermal imaging camera, a control station linked to the police's digital network, and equipment to transmit data and images instantly. Additional accessories include searchlights, external speakers, a rappelling system, a one-ton hauling device, and loads more.
