Day-by-Day Tally of Combat in Ukraine: June 6 Showdown

Kickstarting June 6, the battlefield witnessed a whopping 164 skirmishes. Here's a rundown of the nerve-wracking action that played out throughout the day.

On the Kharkiv front, attacks were reported near Volchansk, Krasnoperyvok, and Volchansk Khutory.

On the Kupiansk front, the enemy made attempts to advance towards our positions in the areas of Zolochiv and Stepnaya Novoselovka.

On the Liman front, a total of 17 attacks took place in the vicinity of Zelenaya Dolyna, Grekovka, Kolodyaz, and in the directions of Novyi Mir, Olhivka, Redkodub, Volchyi Yar, Hryhorivka, Torets, and Serebryanskyi Forest.

On the Severodonetsk front, our defense positions were attacked twice in the direction of Serebryanka.

On the Kramatorsk front, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Chasiv Yar, and towards Bila Hora.

On the Toretsk front, the enemy conducted 12 offensive actions against our troops' positions in the areas of the settlements of Diliivka, Kleban-Byk, Toretsk, and towards Oleksandro-Kalynove, Rusyn Yar, Stepanky, and Yablunivka, with two battles still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk front, the enemy attempted to break through our defenses 56 times in the areas of the settlements of Nova Poltavka, Lizavetivka, Lisivka, Pokrovsk, Udarne, Novoserhiyivka, Novoaidarivka, Orekhove, Nadeivka, Novoukrainka, Andriivka, and in the directions of the settlements of Malynivka, Mirnolubivka, Poltavka, Luch, Muravka, Oleksiivka. There are currently five battles ongoing.

On the Novopavlivske front, Ukrainian troops foiled 15 attacks by the occupation army.

On the Guliai-Polye front, near Malynivka and towards Poltavka, our forces successfully repelled three enemy attacks, with two battles still ongoing.

On the Orekhovsky front, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Piatykhatky and in the direction of Pavlovka.

On the Kursk front, the Russian occupiers aggressively moved 30 times.

Did you know, since June 6, combat in Ukraine has seen an escalation in drone and artillery strikes, mechanized infantry assaults, and tactical ground operations on various fronts? Russian forces have continued to employ infantry and mechanized forces to wear down Ukrainian lines, employing drones, glide bombs, and other tactics to gain advantages. However, a notable deep strike operation was carried out by Ukrainian forces on June 1, code-named “Operation Spider Web,” which targeted Russian airfields across five regions. This operation resulted in substantial damage to Russian military capabilities.
