Get your popcorn ready and join us at the 41st Short Film Festival Hamburg, happening from June 3 - 8! This year's theme is "Provocation of Love." 💞
What's in Store?
You can expect over 300 short films that touch upon various aspects of coexistence, glamour, the urban city life, and the visibility of Sinti and Roma. We're excited to see new narratives and current aesthetics in the International Competition and the best from the national short film and film school scene in the German Competition.
But that's not all! The "Triple Axel" Competition features films up to three minutes long, and it's all about Mission Impossible this year. And guess what? For filmmakers who love the charm of analog film, we're introducing the Kodak Film Award for the very first time! 🌦️

Our extended program "Mo&Friese" is designed with our younger audience in mind! With 61 entertaining and thought-provoking short films, your little ones will have plenty to look forward to. Remember, around 38 films are in competition, so don't forget to cheer for your favorites! 🥳
