Over 3,000 Professionals Convene in Sydney for Australia-Bangladesh Business Expo 2025
Over 3,000 professionals, industry leaders, and academics gathered in Sydney for the Australia-Bangladesh Business Expo 2025 (ABBF). The event, organised by the Australia-Bangladesh Business Forum, focused on bolstering trade, education, and innovation ties between the two nations.
The expo featured seminars, sector showcases, and networking opportunities across textiles, IT, education, agriculture, food, leather, and pharmaceuticals. Md Sabur Khan, chairman of Daffodil International University and Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh, represented Bangladesh at the event.
Khan spoke at the Education and Skills session alongside distinguished speakers from Macquarie University, Study NSW, and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. He highlighted Bangladesh's transformation in higher education through innovation, governance reform, and industry-academia integration. Khan also emphasised opportunities for collaboration in education export, technology trade, skills partnerships, and sustainability ventures.
The ABBF Expo 2025 concluded with a call for bold collaborations, underscoring the role of education and skills as the foundation for trade, innovation, and shared prosperity between Australia and Bangladesh. With over 3,000 attendees, the expo provided a significant platform for professionals and industry leaders to connect, learn, and explore new opportunities.
