Over 2400 rivals hailing from 42 diverse nations participating
Meet us in Cuneo in the name of the legendary Fausto Coppi for the 36th Time!
The cycling event of the year is back and stronger than ever - the Gran Fondo Fausto Coppi, ready to break records with more international participants than ever before. With representation from a whopping 42 countries lining up at the start in Piazza Galimberti, this cycling fest will be one for the books!
After the forced stop in 2020 and the reflection time in 2022, the event has rebounded with a vengeance. Thousands of cyclists are set to take on the challenges of the picturesque Cuneo valleys, showcasing the area in an unparalleled advertising campaign.
But this isn't just about cycling. This event serves as a platform for three days of discussions on prevention, road safety, and territorial promotion. And for those who might feel marginalized, they'll have a chance to shine.
Prepare for an event jam-packed with surprises! Get ready to witness over 1400 people walk and run thanks to "Run The Night. Karhu x Cdf" on Friday evening. And, did you know? No one has ever brought the Fat Ox of Carrù to the capital’s living room, especially not in 30-degree heat. But hey, who's afraid of a challenge?
As a tribute to Argentina, the guest country of the Fausto Coppi Generali, participants will don yellow and gold jerseys signed by the French brand Ekoi. The event also kicks off with the "Coppi de Tierra" non-competitive ride of 28 kilometers in the Gesso and Stura River Park on Friday. A "Champion Party" awaits at the finish line in Piazza Galimberti, courtesy of the Night Experience Ride Community and Karhu.
The Argentine Ambassador to Italy, Marcelo Martín Giusto, will be in attendance for meetings with the Cuneo Business Community and the Municipal Administration. And don't forget about the Third Edition of the Teobike Balocco Ride for children aged 5 and above, organized by the Group Sportivo Passatore, Velo Club Experia Piasco, and Team Vigor Piasco, with the collaboration of the Cunee Municipal Police.
Mark your calendars for the 2025 edition of the Gran Fondo, as it'll make history in the Italian Philately with two special postage stamps to be cancelled by Poste Italiane. Keep up with the complete program of the event on faustocoppi.net.
