Title: Iran's Intel Chief and IRGC Commander Axed in Major Strike

In a bold move targeting Iran, more than 20 commanders were offed, including the head honcho of the Iranian Armed Forces' intelligence department and the boss of a IRGC unit that packs a punch with land-to-land missiles.

Meet the capo di capi of Iran's intel gang, Golam-Raja Merhabi. Known for his knife-edge work in regime intelligence and touted as the most brainsy spook in the land, according to "Details", he got the nod from the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

Merhabi had a history of plotting attacks on Israel in the recent past. Not just a dangerous dog to Israel, he was also a well-respected heavyweight in the Iranian regime, neck and neck with the big cheese of the Armed Forces, Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, who was also conveniently whacked.

On the other end of the missile stand, there's Mohammad Baqeri, the broadsword-wielding commander of the IRGC's ballistic missile division with primed land-to-land missiles and long-range cruise missiles. His zippy missiles posed a serious crunch to the State of Israel.

Baqeri was in the thick of things when the Iranians aimed for Israel in April and October 2024. Along with the commander of the IRGC Air Force, Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, and a squad of other high-ranking officials, Baqeri was wiped out in an underground bunker in Tehran.

This dynamic duo (Merhabi and Baqeri) held critical roles in the Iranian Armed Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), but details on their specific positions and responsibilities remain sketchy.

While Iranian state television has confirmed the termination of two top generals in Iran's armed forces, they've kept mum on the identities of these big shots. For a clearer picture, it would be swell to check out additional sources or fresh updates.
