In the first operation, Abucay police nabbed the duo, Alvin and Izon, during a covert buy-bust operation in Barangay Capitangan on the 26th. The cops seized 66.5 grams of shabu, worth an estimated P452,200, from the pair.

The following day, Balanga City police apprehended Aldrin, a 28-year-old suspect, in a similar buy-bust operation in Barangay New Born. This time, the suspect yielded a staggering 250 grams of suspected shabu, worth approximately P1,700,000.

Between April 21 and 27, the Central Luzon police office had successfully nabbed P5731,827.52 worth of illegal drugs in 137 operations across the region. The haul consisted of 840,82 grams of suspected shabu and 118.67 grams of marijuana seized from 185 arrested suspects.

Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, director of the Police Regional Office Region 3, emphasized their undeterred commitment to combating the menace of illegal drugs. "Our relentless fight against illegal drugs knows no boundaries or days of the week. Our Central Luzon police are continuously working tirelessly to protect our communities from this destructive scourge," Fajardo declared.
