Ottawa Senators bring holiday cheer to young patients at CHEO

The Ottawa Senators spent Monday afternoon brightening the holidays for young patients at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Players split into small groups to visit different wards before coming together in the cafeteria for a meet-and-greet with the patients. The visit began with players moving through various wards in pairs or small groups. They spent time chatting with patients, posing for photos, and offering encouragement. Later, the entire team gathered in the hospital cafeteria for a larger meet-and-greet session. The Senators’ annual trip to CHEO has become a holiday staple for the team. While the exact list of participating players wasn’t shared publicly, the visit left a lasting impact on both the children and the staff, reinforcing the team’s connection to the community during the festive period.
