War 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, is currently running in theatres, promising audiences a mix of thrilling action, style, and drama. Jr NTR plays Special Units Officer Vikram in War 2, leading a manhunt for Hrithik Roshan's character, Kabir Dhaliwal. After a shocking betrayal, Kabir Dhaliwal has become a dangerous threat, and Vikram's mission is to bring him to justice.
Kiara Advani joins the War franchise as Kavya Luthra, a character connected to Ashutosh Rana's Colonel Sunil Luthra. The plot of War 2 includes a tense manhunt and adds more mystery with the introduction of Kiara Advani's character.
Anil Kapoor, Dishita Sehgal, Varun Badola, and K.C. Shankar are part of the War 2 cast in supporting roles. Ashutosh Rana portrays a senior RAW officer in the film.
War 2 has been one of the most talked-about Bollywood films of 2025, and fans are eagerly waiting for its digital release. Netflix has reportedly acquired the digital streaming rights for War 2, but the exact release date has not been officially announced yet.
Based on the usual timeline of big Bollywood releases, War 2 might release online around late September or early October 2025. After its theatrical run ends, audiences can look forward to streaming this action-packed sequel on Netflix.
