There are escalators, boards with text, plants, lights on the ceiling, and stores with name boards. At the bottom of the image, there is a watermark indicating that the mall has recently reopened after the coronavirus pandemic.

Osnabrück adjusts waste collection schedules for Easter holidays

Osnabrück has announced changes to waste collection and recycling services over the Easter period. Residents will need to adjust their schedules due to closures and delays from late March into early April. The city's app and updated calendar provide details on the revised dates and disposal options. The first adjustments begin on Monday, March 30. Bins normally collected on that day will instead be emptied on Saturday, March 28. Collections due on Wednesday of Holy Week will move to Tuesday.

From April 3 to 6, all waste services will pause for Easter. This includes bin collections, recycling centres, and garden waste sites. The city's three recycling centres and 15 green waste drop-off points will remain closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. The Piesberg Waste Management Center will also shut on those days. After the holiday, collections will run one day later than usual for the rest of that week. Osnabrück's waste calendar highlights all changes, while the city's app offers personalised schedules and reminders. Both tools include information on recycling centres, disposal sites, and green waste options.

The temporary closures and delays aim to accommodate the Easter holiday. Residents should check the app or updated calendar for their specific collection dates. Normal service will resume the following week, with all sites reopening as scheduled.
