OSC personnel need to respond once more
In the Duisburg region, the OSC Rheinhausen handball team is gearing up for the new season with a shake-up to their squad. Alexander Lenz, a familiar face to the team, has been appointed as the new second goalkeeper.
Lenz, a homegrown talent, has a rich history with handball. He started his career with HC Wölfe Nordrhein, where he won the Lower Rhine championship with the C youth team and later helped the first team gain promotion to the regional league in 2020. After a successful stint with SV Neukirchen, Lenz returned to the Krefelder Straße last year.
Lenz's impressive performance with the OSC Rheinhausen second team, where he played a significant role in their promotion to the Oberliga, has earned him a spot in the regional league team. This marks a new challenge for Lenz, as he tests himself one level higher.
Julian Seemann currently holds the first goalkeeper position, and Lenz's addition to the team is a short-term one. Lenz has already had a taste of action, having played for part of a benefit game against HSG Krefeld Niederrhein. His first match with the regional league team of OSC Rheinhausen will be against TV Aldekerk on Thursday.
The OSC Rheinhausen handball team is looking forward to the new season with Lenz's addition to their ranks. The team's fans are eager to see how Lenz will perform in his new role and contribute to the team's success in the upcoming season.
Lenz's appointment as the new second goalkeeper for the OSC Rheinhausen handball team indicates a potential interest in sports, particularly European-league football, as the team prepares for the new season. With his prior experience and impressive performances in lower leagues, Lenz may aim to excel in European handball leagues as well.
