"Orji Kalu Accuses Certain Individuals of Financing Boko Haram to Oppose Tinubu's Administration"

In an explosive claim on Channels Television's Politics Today, Senior Senator Orji Uzor Kalu from Abia North arrivally alleged that Nigeria's powerful ruling figures are secretly supporting Boko Haram to destabilize the new administration under President Bola Tinubu.

According to our source, Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State, asserted that the reignition of Boko Haram is a politically orchestrated move by power-hungry individuals dissatisfied with the current state of governance and yearning to seize control of the system.

The Senator labeled the situation as a political war, suggesting that the sponsors of Boko Haram are not aiming for financial gains but rather, seeking to tear down and take over the administration.

Kalu urged unity and patriotism among Nigerians, implying that they should strive to strengthen the country instead of sabotaging it for selfish interests. He stated emphatically that:

"The political class is backing Boko Haram. They are using terrorism as their weapon against Tinubu, much like they did with past administrations. The political classincludes former governors, politicians, affluent businesspeople, and high-ranking civil servants.

"Individuals within the political class are fueling Boko Haram. This is a political war. Some of them aren't chasing money-they're after power. They want to shatter the system just to seize control, and that's not how power should be seized.

"The insecurity in Nigeria is politically provoked. These individuals-politicians, businessmen, civil servants-aren't just seeking financial gain. They're aiming to hijack political power.

"If we consider ourselves friends and allies of the ordinary Nigerian, we should value and strive for our country's well-being. We should work together to construct a better nation."
