On July 12, 2025, at 12 noon, the renowned Belgian organist and harpsichord player, Jean-Luc Thellin, will captivate audiences at the Liebfrauenmünster Ingolstadt. This performance is part of the SaturdayOrgan concert series, celebrating its tenth event of the year.

The concert is organised by the Verein Freunde der Musik am Münster e.V., a group of dedicated volunteers committed to promoting music in the local community.

Jean-Luc Thellin, born in Liège, is the organist and curator of the Great Organ of the Salle de Musique de La Chaux-de-Fonds. He also teaches organ at the Conservatory of Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, and has taught organ and harpsichord at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Chartres. Thellin has won several international competitions and performs a wide repertoire from early to contemporary music. Improvisation is another of his passions, both in concert and in liturgical settings, where he incorporates various styles. He has played the complete organ works of J.S. Bach multiple times, as well as works by César Franck and Maurice Duruflé, some of which he has recorded on CD.
