Organ transplant over the weekend
Giampaolo Di Rosa to Perform at Ingolstadt This Weekend
Renowned organist Giampaolo Di Rosa will be gracing the city of Ingolstadt this weekend with two separate performances.
On Saturday, 20th September, Di Rosa will take the stage at the Liebfrauenmünster. The 30-minute concert will focus on the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. Di Rosa will play "Fantasia on 'Komm, Heiliger Geist'", the English Suite in A minor, and "Musical Offering" on the Bach organ in the church.
The following day, on Sunday, 21st September, Di Rosa will perform at the Asamkirche Maria de Victoria. The specific works for this performance have not been disclosed, but it is known that it will not focus on the works of Bach.
Interestingly, Di Rosa will be playing "Musical Offering" on Sunday instead of Saturday as initially planned. Conversely, "Fantasia on 'Komm, Heiliger Geist'" will be performed on Saturday, and the English Suite in A minor will not be played on Sunday.
It's also worth noting that Ariel Zuckermann, who leads the Kammerphilharmonie Ingolstadt, will conduct the concert on Thursday before Di Rosa's performances.
The Sunday performance will take place at a different church from the Saturday performance, but the exact duration of the Sunday concert has not been specified.
Whether you're a classical music enthusiast or new to the genre, these performances promise to be a treat for all. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to witness the talent of Giampaolo Di Rosa in Ingolstadt this weekend.
