Heinz Rudolf Kunze, the renowned German author and musician, known for his work "Your Heart is My Whole Heart", has spoken out in support of Israel's right to defend itself amidst a growing debate about weapons supply.

In an interview with the "Berliner Zeitung", Kunze, who lives near Hannover, expressed his solidarity with Israel, stating that he finds it intolerable that in Germany, genocidal Islamists are allowed to freely demonstrate while Jews may fear for their lives.

Kunze, who is 68 years old, prefers to express his political thoughts in his spoken texts on stage or in his songs, rather than gathering under random slogans. He has made it clear that he is not a signature gatherer and rarely participates in collective signature actions.

His statement, however, is against the position of dozens of German celebrities, including music stars like Shirin David, Nina Chuba, Yvonne Catterfeld, Bausa, and Ski Aggu, film stars like Sandra Hüller, Daniel Brühl, and Fatih Akin, and entertainers like Giovanni Zarrella or Joko and Klaas. A group of 370 cultural figures have called for a halt to weapons deliveries and further sanctions against Israel.

Despite this, Kunze believes that Germany should always stand with Israel and disagrees with not supplying Israel with weapons, given the country's precarious geopolitical position, surrounded by genocidal Islamic states and groups.

It is important to note that Kunze's specific stance on Germany supplying weapons to Israel or his contrasting views with other German celebrities is not documented in publicly available records. However, his statement is based on his personal conviction.

Kunze's views on this matter, while controversial, reflect a broader discourse in Germany about the country's relationship with Israel and its role in regional conflicts. As the debate continues, Kunze's voice adds another perspective to the conversation, emphasising the need for understanding and support in times of crisis.

The Commission, in light of the ongoing debate about weapons supply and regional conflicts, has been asked to submit a proposal for a directive on the protection of the environment, given the potential impact of war-and-conflicts on global ecology. This call for policy-and-legislation in politics, related to general news like Kunze's stance on Israel's right to self-defense, highlights the interconnectedness of various issues in the modern world.
