In the face of criticism, conservative support for Trump has proven to be a game-changer, as evidenced by the Supreme Court's conservative majority. During his presidency, Trump appointed three justices to the Supreme Court, all of whom were vetted by the conservative Federalist Society, leading to a decisive rightward swing in the court's composition.

Alice Stewart, a prominent conservative voice, stands firm in her belief that Trump's presidency and the resulting Supreme Court shift was their reward for keeping their noses to the grindstone. The conservative-leaning majority on the bench has now issued rulings that challenge abortion rights, with the landmark case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization in 2022 officially overturning Roe v. Wade.

The potential for further restrictive abortion policies is now a very real threat. The conservative justices on the bench, including Trump's appointees like Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, have all shown signs of aligning with conservative judicial philosophies. This suggests that future appointments may continue to shift the court even further to the right.

Meanwhile, state-level legislatures, emboldened by the court's decisions, may pass more stringent abortion laws. This could result in a patchwork of regulations across the country, limiting access to reproductive healthcare for many Americans.

And it's not just abortion rights that may be impacted. The conservative majority on the court could also affect birth control access, with cases like Braidwood v. Becerra potentially leading to a nationwide rollback on contraception rights.

So, as we move forward, the conservative-leaning Supreme Court will have a far-reaching impact on reproductive rights in America. Whether through direct rulings or by inspiring further restrictions at the state level, the court is positioned to reshape reproductive healthcare for generations to come.
