Initially scheduled for recovery within two weeks, the vessel Bayesian's resurfacing was put on hold.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Marcus Cave of British firm TMC Marine, spearheading the salvage mission, acknowledged the somber mood pervading the project. He expressed heartfelt condolences for the deceased diver, revered by all for his expertise and camaraderie.

U.K. inquest proceedings are underway to scrutinize the demises of Mr. Lynch and his daughter, alongside Jonathan Bloomer, 70, and his wife Judy Bloomer, 71 – both British nationals – who also perished.
The remaining deceased individuals were Chris Morvillo, a renowned U.S. lawyer, his wife Neda Morvillo, and Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian-Antiguan national working as a chef aboard the vessel.
Fifteen individuals, including Mr. Lynch's wife, Angela Bacares, miraculously escaped the ordeal.
Mr. Lynch and his family resided near London, while the Bloomers called Sevenoaks in Kent home.
The billionaire entrepreneur founded software titan Autonomy in 1996. In June of the previous year, he was exonerated of charges pertaining to a massive fraud related to the sale of Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2011 [3].
