Opera company, Finger Lakes Opera, presents Verdi's 'Rigoletto' on the RIT stage
The Finger Lakes Opera is set to captivate audiences with its production of Verdi's Rigoletto, featuring Joshua Conyers in the title role, Jazmine Saunders as Gilda, and Christopher Bozeka as the Duke of Mantua.
The performances, scheduled for August 7, 2025, at 7 PM, and August 10, 2025, at 2 PM, will take place at the Robert F. Panara Theatre at RIT/NTID in Rochester, New York. This production serves as the closing act for Finger Lakes Opera’s 2025 Summer Festival, which also includes the film Chevalier and a production of The Anonymous Lover by Chevalier de Saint-Georges, along with various concerts and opera-related events.
Joshua Conyers, a Grammy-nominated baritone, brings his "deliciously honeyed baritone" and captivating stage presence to the role of Rigoletto.
