Open-air cinema admission tickets available in Hamburg, free of charge
In the heart of Hamburg-Ottensen, Zeise Cinemas is gearing up for an exciting summer of film screenings, live performances, and special events. From July 3 to August 31, 2025, the courtyard of Altona Town Hall will transform into an open-air cinema, offering a vibrant festival experience for cinema enthusiasts.
Highlights of the summer open-air cinema programme include the performance by Ulrich Tukur with BĀLAVAT on August 3, the Zeise concert on August 8, and THE KLIM-PERCLOWN with Helge Schneider on August 9. On August 10, five free tickets for the film "Hundreds of Beavers" will be given away by our website nord. Ryland Brickson Cole Tews, the main actor of the film, will be present on the evening of the screening.
For those who prefer indoor screenings, Zeise Cinemas also offers a backup plan in case of uncertain weather. Ticket holders can attend an indoor event at the Zeise Cinema on the same day.
On August 19, a sneak preview of new FSK-18 feature films will be shown, and on August 26, the film "Looking into the Sun" will be screened. This film tells the story of four women from different eras living on an isolated farm in the Altmark.
In addition to films, the open-air programme at the Altona Town Hall also includes literature and concerts.
