Get ready to shape your nation's future in the 2025 Philippine National Elections! The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait is urging all registered Filipino overseas voters to jump on the bandwagon. Here's the skinny on how you can cast your ballot from the comfort of Kuwait.

Online Voting Timeframe:The online voting extravaganza kicks off on April 13 and wraps up on May 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Mark these dates in your calendars, lest you miss out on your chance to have a say in our nation's future.

Pre-voting Enrollment Deadline: May 7

Before you start casting ballots, you'll need to go through a pre-voting enrollment process. To participate, make sure you've got your passport at the ready, as you'll need to snap a pic of it during enrollment. Don't miss the last call for enrollment—the deadline is May 7, 2025.

To help you out, the Embassy's Enrollment and Voting Assistance Desk will be open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, even on weekends, throughout the voting period. To extend a helping hand even further, the desk will extend its business hours from Thursday, May 1 to Tuesday, May 6, staying open until 8:00 PM. On the final day of enrollment, Wednesday, May 7, the desk will be open until 2:00 pm.

Ambassador's Take:His Excellency Jose A. Cabrera III, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Kuwait, emphasized the convenience of online voting, particularly for those with jam-packed work schedules or living far from the Embassy or consular offices.

"Voters can enroll and cast their ballots anywhere, anytime, using a smartphone or laptop with internet access," Ambassador Cabrera said. "If they run into any trouble during enrollment or voting, they're urged to call or visit the Embassy for a hand."

The Ambassador reminded voters that while the voting period ends on May 12, the enrollment process closes earlier, on May 7.

"I implore all registered Filipino overseas voters in Kuwait to exercise their right to vote and contribute to shaping the future of our country," he stated.

Sharing his personal experience, Ambassador Cabrera added, "I used my mobile phone to vote, and I feel grateful to have experienced firsthand the convenience, innovation, and ease that online voting offers."
