In a shocking turn of events, an investigation has exposed a now-closed Facebook group where over 32,000 men, including boyfriends, husbands, and partners, were posting photographs of unsuspecting wives. The group, which operated under the radar, was based in various provinces across Italy.

The group's posts often asked for and received explicit sexual content, potentially putting many participants at risk of legal consequences. The crimes committed in the group range from defamation to privacy violation, and the illegal distribution of explicit videos or images. More than a thousand complaints have been received by the authorities from women unaware of the photos.

One such participant, Mario Bianchi from the province of Novara, asked for any unsuspecting wives from his province in the group. Another user, Luca Russo, responded to Mario's post, expressing interest in any wives from the province of Asti. However, neither Mario nor Luca received any responses from wives in their respective provinces.

Photos of women in swimsuits, cooking, or relaxing on the couch were common contents of the posts. The group's administrators, in an attempt to evade exposure, created a backup group and a Telegram channel. Both the backup group and the Telegram channel have been reported and closed by the postal police.

The Telegram channel is an application where it is easier to spread illegal content due to less stringent controls on the platform. The postal police will send an informative report to the Rome prosecutor's office after completing all necessary checks.

Mario and Luca complained about the lack of information in the group, with Mario suggesting that the profiles might be fake. Luca agreed with Mario's assessment, expressing disappointment at the lack of responses.

The investigation into the group shook all of Italy, shedding light on the prevalence of such illicit activities. The penalty for the illegal distribution of explicit videos or images can reach up to six years in prison and a €15,000 fine. The crimes committed in the group are under investigation by the authorities.

Despite the closure of the Facebook group and associated channels, there is no publicly available information about the person who founded the group distributing illegal explicit media in the Province of Asti. The authorities continue their investigation, aiming to bring those responsible to justice.
