In the small town of Anaconda, Montana, a manhunt is underway for Michael Paul Brown, the suspect in a tragic shooting incident that took place at The Owl Bar on Friday morning.

Brown, a 45-year-old former U.S. Army soldier, is wanted for the fatal shooting of four individuals, including a bartender and three patrons. The incident has left the community in shock and the authorities on high alert.

Brown, who served in the U.S. Army as an armor crewman from 2001 to 2005, later joined the Montana National Guard from 2006 to March 2009, where he left as a sergeant. He is believed to have deployed to Iraq from early 2004 until March 2005.

The suspect is described as a 5 feet 10 inches tall man with brown hair, blue eyes, and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He is believed to be armed and dangerous, and authorities are urging anyone who sees him or his vehicle - a 2007 white Ford F-150 - to contact the authorities immediately.

The search for Brown is ongoing, with the focus currently on the area off of Stumptown Road, where he may be hiding in the mountainous terrain. Given his familiarity with the area from his childhood, he is believed to be adept at navigating the rough terrain.

The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation is overseeing the case, with multiple local, state, and federal agencies involved in the search. The Governor of Minnesota, Greg Gianforte, has closely monitored the situation and has asked residents to pray for the victims, their loved ones, and the law enforcement officers.

As the manhunt continues, the community remains on edge, with residents urged to stay home Friday night and remain on high alert. A $7,500 reward is offered for information leading to Brown's arrest. The authorities are hopeful that with the public's help, they can bring the suspect to justice and bring some semblance of peace back to the town of Anaconda.
