Russian-held regions surrounding Kyiv, despite Kremlin's Victory Day truce proclamation, persistently conduct attacks and artillery strikes on multiple fronts, including Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Liman, Vovchansk, Kramatorsk, and Novopavlovsk sectors.

Ongoing combat disregarding Putin's declared truce in the war zone

In an uncensored and brutally honest account, it's clear as day that Russian-held zones in Ukraine are blatantly disregarding the alleged ceasefire announced on Victory Day. The violence continues to escalate on several fronts, including Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Liman, Vovchansk, Kramatorsk, and Novopavlivske.

As Major Viktor Trepitev of the Operational Strategic Group "Hortitsia" put it during a national telethon, "The enemy might be taking a nap, but there's no bloody ceasefire here. They were at it like a bunch of lunatics on several fronts since midnight, defying their own damned announcements. There were assault actions on Liman, Vovchansk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Novopavlivske – it's as if they're deliberately trying to shred our fucking map."

The horrific assaults on the Pokrovsk direction remain some of the most intense. Ukrainian forces are struggling to keep the bastards at bay, with relentless attempts by the Russians to push west towards the city, east towards the agglomeration, and south to reinforce their efforts on the Novopavlivske direction.

"We've had a frickin' 65 bloody combat engagements – it's the hottest damn section of the front right now. And those psycho Putin troops aren't about to give up their attempts to break our defense around the city, aiming for the road between Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka to disrupt communication or to reach the road to Pavlograd – leave alone helping their pathetic troops advancing towards the Novopavlovsk direction, which they're too fucking incapable to do," Trepitev continues.

Air Force officials report no enemy drones cruising since May 8, but respond with intensified strikes with tactical aviation instead. Despite this, citizens are still dying – one killed, two injured due to Russian strikes with guided aerial bombs on Sumy region overnight on May 8.

Back in April, the Kremlin declared that Putin would unilaterally declare a "ceasefire" for May 8-9 to celebrate the 77th anniversary of WWII victory, but President Volodymyr Zelensky labeled it a theatrical production meant to create an atmosphere for Russia's escape from their lonely hellhole. Zelensky insisted on a 30-day ceasefire as proposed by the US instead.

It's become abundantly clear that Russia's so-called ceasefire means nothing more than a brief respite before resuming their brutal and senseless assaults on Ukrainian soil.
