It's been a decade and a half since Prakash Jha's Raajneeti graced the silver screen, leaving an indelible mark on Bollywood. As the film reaches its 15th anniversary, Director Prakash Jha confirms that a sequel to Raajneeti is indeed on the horizon. Prakash reminisced, "People may call Raajneeti a commercial success, but for me, other films like Damul (1984), Mritudand (1997), Gangajal (2003), Apaharan (2005) or Satyagraha (2013) are simply films. But it's gratifying when people talk about them."

Raajneeti boasted an impressive soundtrack, composed by Aadesh Shrivastava, Pritam, Shantanu Moitra, and Wayne Sharpe, with lyrics penned by Gulzar, Irshad Kamil, Sameer, and Swanand Kirkire. Prakash fondly recalls how Aadesh came up with Mora Piya Mose Bolat Nahin during a brainstorming session. The song resonated so well with the film that it was integrated seamlessly. Kavita Seth, who sang the track, cherishes it as one of her biggest hits to date.
