"Hockey x Arts," a collaboration between Eva Berten, Team Legit e.V., Theater Krefeld-Mönchengladbach, Museum Abteiberg, and national players like Mats Grambusch, Lilly Stoffelsma, and Finja Starck, showcases hockey as a movement art and visual experience through photographs. The exhibition is on display at the Central Library until August 24th.

Meanwhile, "Hockey, Yoga, and More Sports" is a parallel media exhibition that features inspirations for body and mind, including non-fiction books, children's literature, and fiction about sports, movement, and balance. This exhibition is taking place on the Plaza of the Central Library until August 31st.

For tech enthusiasts, the mobile MakerSpace of the city library offers a separate event. On August 11th and 12th, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, creative tech stations for tinkering, programming, and testing will be available at the Fan-Village of the EM, in the Hockeypark. This event is not part of the exhibitions "Hockey x Arts" or "Hockey, Yoga, and More Sports."

The Central Library Carl Brandts House is a hub for cultural and informational programming in Mönchengladbach. A free guided tour in English for international guests is available on August 11th from 10 to 11 am at Carl Brandts House, no registration required.
