Olivia Rodrigo stuns at 2025 ARIA Awards with bold red carpet look

The 2025 ARIA Awards took place at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday night. Stars arrived in style, with Olivia Molly Rogers and Olivia Rodrigo among the first to step onto the red carpet. The ceremony highlighted a mix of established names and rising talent across multiple categories.

Early on the red carpet, Olivia Molly Rogers made a statement in a beige ruched midi dress. The outfit featured a high neckline and a flowing cape overlay, drawing attention as she posed for photographers. Shortly after, Olivia Rodrigo arrived in a bold strapless black gown. Her look included a dramatic bubble skirt and a single white rose pinned to her corset.

The nominations this year covered a wide range of artists. Best Solo Artist contenders included Kylie Minogue, Mallrat, The Kid LAROI, Young Franco, Dom Dolla, Missy Higgins, Thelma Plum, and BARKAA. For Best Group, the shortlist featured Amyl and The Sniffers, Folk Bitch Trio, Hilltop Hoods, Royel Otis, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

Song of the Year saw strong competition with tracks like Dean Lewis’ With You, The Kid LAROI’s Girls, Dom Dolla and Daya’s Dreamin, and Royel Otis’ Linger. Album of the Year nominees included Ninajirachi, Thelma Plum, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Missy Higgins, and Amyl and The Sniffers. Ninajirachi, a 26-year-old self-taught producer, led the pack with eight nominations overall, including Best Solo Artist and Album of the Year.

In the Best Video category, nominees ranged from RÜFÜS DU SOL and Spacey Jane to Amyl and The Sniffers, Royel Otis, and Missy Higgins. Emily Wurramara, Vv Pete, Dom Dolla, and Hilltop Hoods also made the list. Notably, Abbie Chatfield’s boyfriend, Adam Hyde (known as Keli Holiday), earned a nomination for his video Dancing2.

The 2025 ARIA Awards showcased a diverse lineup of artists and performances. With Ninajirachi leading the nominations, the results will determine this year’s standout acts. The ceremony celebrated both emerging and well-known names in Australian music.
