New Concept for Men's Strip Bar by Olivia Jones - Olivia Jones Closes Iconic Male Strip Club After 15 Years on Reeperbahn
Olivia Jones is shutting down her male striptease venue on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn after 15 years. The well-known drag queen and entrepreneur announced the closure, citing that the concept had 'run its course'. Despite this change, her other businesses will carry on as usual.
The male strip club, known as 'Olivias Wilde Jungs', first opened its doors 15 years ago. Over time, it became a fixture on the Reeperbahn, offering women a night out with male dancers. Now, Jones has decided to close this chapter, explaining that the idea no longer fits the current scene.
A new concept is already in the works for the same location on Große Freiheit. While details remain under wraps, Jones plans to reveal the fresh plans within the next one to two weeks. The venue itself will stay open during the transition. The male strippers who performed there may not disappear entirely. Jones has hinted that some could be integrated into shows at her four other venues. These include bars, clubs, and her popular neighbourhood tours, all of which will continue running without interruption.
The closure marks the end of an era for one of Hamburg’s most distinctive nightlife spots. The new concept will replace the male striptease format, though the building on Große Freiheit will remain part of Olivia Jones’ operations. Further details on the revamped venue are expected to be announced shortly.
