Oktoberfest 2021: Celebrity Women Enjoy Madlwiesn and Barbie-Wiesn Despite Challenges
Oktoberfest in Munich saw two popular events, Madlwiesn and Barbie-Wiesn, attract notable guests. While no famous women were officially documented at these celebrity events during the 2021 celebrations, several attended unofficially, enjoying the festivities and facing common challenges faced by women at Oktoberfest. At Madlwiesn, hosted by Hell and Karrer in the Schützenfestzelt, Ursula Karven, Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, and Betty Taube let loose, dancing on tables. Meanwhile, at Barbie-Wiesn, held by Mattel at Käfers Wiesn-Schänke, model Monica Ivancan and 'taff' host Neda Peemüller were among the VIP guests. Stylist Oliver Rauh was one of the few men celebrating at the Barbie-Wiesn. Darya Strelnikova stood out at Barbie-Wiesn, sporting leather pants and a striking pink corsage with XXL puff sleeves. Despite no official reports of celebrity appearances, these women enjoyed the events, joining many others who face daily unpleasant situations due to drunk men's behavior, as reported by Cathy Hummels. Before attending Madlwiesn, celebrity women were treated to fresh Wiesn styling to help them stand out and enjoy the event. While Oktoberfest continues to attract celebrities, the experiences of women at the festival remain a concern. Despite facing challenges, notable women like Ursula Karven and Monica Ivancan enjoyed Madlwiesn and Barbie-Wiesn, highlighting the need for better behavior from attendees to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
