Okorocha Discusses Departure from APC Party

In response to swirling rumors that he's planning to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has set the record straight. Sure, he's got beef with the party, but desperate to hijack power? Not a chance.

Okorocha's team has called out the allegation circulating on social media as a fabrication, emphasizing that their man would never ride so low as to describing a party he helped found and sustain in power since 2015 as 'desperate'.

"Sorry folks, but Okorocha's not into the marketing of doom and gloom," said his Special Adviser on Media, Sam Onwuemeodo in a pithy press release. "When you've played a significant role in shaping the political landscape of a nation, you don't resort to crying wolf just for kicks."

Okorocha, who was the lone South-East governor to jump ship to the APC during its inception, faced immense criticism and mockery. But he remained steadfast, earning himself the role of Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum. His unwavering commitment earned him the title by his fellow APC governors [1][2].

"He took a calculated risk when many South-East leaders doubted the APC, and he was lambasted for it," the press release stated. "But he never faltered, and look where we are today. Still here, still standing tall."

So, if you've been drinking the #APCHijackPowerKoolAid, think again. Okorocha's still firmly rooted in the APC. And if he had beef with the party, you can bet your last kobo he'd come at it with something more convincing than a poorly written social media post.
