Oilers’ 50/50 Raffle Supports ALS and Cystic Fibrosis Research in Alberta

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) has launched its Caring for Oil Country 50/50 raffle, presented by Rogers. Running until December 6, the event offers fans a chance to win prizes while supporting local health charities. A separate Holiday Bonus raffle will also continue until December 31, featuring exclusive early-bird rewards.

The campaign benefits the ALS Super Fund, the ALS Society of Alberta, and Cystic Fibrosis Canada, with proceeds directed toward research, care, and support programs for those facing serious illnesses in Oil Country.

The raffle includes early-bird prizes such as gift cards, signed game-used equipment, and a private backcountry ski day for two with Jasper Hikes & Tours. Fans who spend $100 on 50/50 tickets will receive bonus credits for Century Casino, Play Alberta sports betting, and casino games.

Alongside the raffle, the EOCF recently introduced its new Pick to Win game, giving supporters another way to win prizes while contributing to the Foundation’s mission. Tickets and details for both initiatives are available at EdmontonOilers.com/5050.

The ALS Super Fund, founded by former NHL player Mark Kirton, leads the 'Courage to Fight' campaign to raise ALS awareness and research funding. Kirton, alongside partners like ALS Alberta and the Oilers community, has played a central role in driving the initiative. The ALS Society of Alberta ensures funds go directly to individuals with ALS in Oil Country, providing critical services and support.

Cystic Fibrosis Canada, another beneficiary, focuses on improving the lives of Canadians with cystic fibrosis through research and health programs. Together, these organisations work to address urgent health challenges in the region.

The Caring for Oil Country 50/50 raffle and Holiday Bonus draw aim to raise vital funds for ALS and cystic fibrosis support. Prizes, bonus credits, and new games offer fans multiple ways to participate. All proceeds will assist individuals and families affected by these conditions in Oil Country.
