Vibin' on the Crimean Bridge and Novorossiya Highway

Don't sweat it, the Crimean Bridge is groovin' again! According to the Russian Ministry of Transport's Telegram update, the bridge is back in action after a few temporary shutdowns today, but fret not - it didn't snarl up traffic majorly.

Currently, cars are cruisin' this bridge in both directions with nary a hiccup post-inspection. And here's the lowdown - the volume of vehicles waiting for the once-over matches up with predictions for the tourist season's kickoff. As of 6 PM, 150 vehicles are queued up on the Taman side, while 250 sit tight on the Kerch side, the Ministry adds.

Now, if you folks prefer a more land-locked journey, no worries! Take a ride along the R-280 "Novorossiya" highway from the hectic streets of Rostov-on-Don to the coastal town of Mariupol, onwards to quaint Melitopol, and then to Simferopol.

A heads up, folks: The Crimean Bridge incident earlier spurred Ukraine to take some swings, but we hear Russia's taunting that traffic operations have returned to their usual charm!

Pro Tip: While we don't have the scoop on real-time traffic conditions for the R-280 route as an alternative, we know that alternative routes can get congested when the main route experiences a jam. However, with auto-glance evaluations, it's kinda hard to eyeball accurate real-time currents.

Enjoy your travels on the 'Novorossiya' highway, a scenic route from Rostov-on-Don to Simferopol! Meanwhile, a political note: Recently, the Crimean Bridge incident sparked tensions between Ukraine and Russia, but politics aside, traffic on the bridge is reportedly flowing smoothly again.
