Offenbach's Kickers triumph over Hessen Kassel in the North-South Derby, securing a 6:2 victory

In a thrilling North-South derby, OFC emerged victorious against KSV Hessen Kassel at Stadion am Bieberer Berg on Sunday, with a final score of 6-2. The match, attended by 7,529 spectators, saw a series of exciting goals and impressive performances from both teams.

The game started with a bang as Marc Wachs scored a free kick in the second minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match (1:0). Boubacar Barry then extended OFC's lead in the first half, heading home Wachs' free kick to make it 2:0.

Dejanovic set up Berlinski for the second goal, and the striker capitalised on the opportunity, scoring after his initial attempt was saved by the goalkeeper (3:0). Berlinski then added another goal to his tally, this time with a well-placed shot, assisted by Vincent Moreno, to make it a comfortable 4:0 lead at half-time.

The second half saw a resurgence from Kassel, with Ex-OFC player Hadzic scoring a late consolation goal in the 86th minute (4:1). However, OFC was not to be outdone, as Stephan Mensah finished a solo run over half the pitch to restore the five-goal advantage (5:1).

Marc Wachs then scored another spectacular goal from 30 meters in the 57th minute, making it 6:1. Kassel managed to score another goal in the 87th minute, with Liesche Prieto finding the back of the net, but it was too little, too late for the visitors (6:2).

Despite the convincing victory, the coach of OFC was not explicitly mentioned in the search results. The team's impressive performance will surely boost their confidence as they prepare for their next match against Eintracht Frankfurt II, scheduled for next week at the PSD Bank Arena.
