In a thrilling encounter at Stadion am Bieberer Berg, Kickers Offenbach and Eintracht Trier played out a nail-biting 2-2 draw in the Hessen Cup quarter-final match. The match, attended by 9,723 passionate spectators, saw both teams creating numerous dangerous chances in the first half, but the score remained goalless.

The deadlock was broken in the 54th minute when Nazarov scored for Offenbach, giving the home team a well-deserved lead. However, Trier equalized in the 65th minute due to an unfortunate situation, setting the stage for an exciting second half.

Offenbach regained the lead in the 68th minute through Mustafa, but Wimmer of Eintracht Trier scored the equalizer in the 79th minute, securing a hard-fought draw for the visitors.

The match was marked by several key moments, including Biondic's headed shot towards the goal from a free-kick cross in the 14th minute and OFC goalkeeper Brinkies' intervention in the same minute. Wimmer's goal came after a one-two with Heinz, while Dejanovic was bypassed by Wimmer during the goal.

The draw means Offenbach will have to wait for another opportunity to advance in the Hessen Cup. The Hessen Cup quarter-final rematch between Offenbach and SV Wehen Wiesbaden will take place on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
